Alex Ward, O.D.

Dr. Ward earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish at the College of Charleston is South Carolina.  He was then accepted into the Interamerican University School of Optometry in Puerto Rico where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated second in his class. While in school he developed a strong interest in the treatment and management of ocular disease and graduated with honors in clinic. He was then selected among many candidates as one of three Residents in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta for 2008-2009.

Dr. Ward is actively involved in the teaching of student interns at Omni from 15 schools and colleges of optometry. Upon completion of residency he plans to practice in North or South Carolina. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
