Andrea Knouff, OD is originally from Alpharetta, Georgia.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Elon University in North Carolina.  She graduated with clinical honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in May 2007.   She underwent extensive training at the world re-knowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida before completing a residency in ocular disease in 2008 at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta.  After finishing her residency, Dr. Knouff joined Atlanta Eye Care and worked in private practice. Dr. Knouff has been featured in Northside Women Magazine, and Around Town Magazine.  She lectures at national meetings including SECO International, educating other doctors on various eye-related topics.  She specializes in pre and postoperative surgical care, and eye disease. 

Dr. Knouff is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association, The Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the National Association for Professional Women.  She also volunteers for the Special Olympics and Georgia Lighthouse Association where she provides free eye care for underprivileged patients.  Dr. Knouff enjoys running, yoga, and cooking.
