Dr. Woodard is a board certified ophthalmologist who serves as Medical Director of Omni Eye Services in Atlanta. As one of the country’s leading cataract surgeons, he specializes in complex cataract surgery, multifocal and toric intraocular lenses, and corneal surgery. He lectures extensively at international meetings, educating other surgeons and optometrists on cataract surgery techniques and new technologies. Recently, he was one of four U.S. cataract surgeons featured in Eyeworld magazine due to his expertise with new cataract surgery technology.

Dr. Woodard is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College. He completed medical school at Duke University, followed by internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Case Western Reserve University. He completed residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute. He then completed a corneal and refractive surgery fellowship with Dr. Richard Eiferman in Louisville, KY. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 1999.
