Dr. Mital Patel received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2004. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2008. Throughout her education she found ocular disease very fascinating which lead her to pursue a residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services. Aside from a rigorous patient schedule, she works closely with interns preparing them for graduation and a successful career in optometry. She has gained tremendous experience in pediatrics, low vision, and primary care from different modes of practice ranging from private practices to Veterans Affair Hospitals. On her spare time she enjoys spinning, traditional Indian dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
