Dr. Fareed Dosani grew up in India and has been involved with optometry from a very young age. Coming from a family of optometrists and opticians, becoming an optometrist seemed like a natural fit. He went to school to be an optometrist in India. Upon migrating to US, Dr. Dosasni worked as a licensed optician and decided to go back to school and do what he always enjoyed doing, helping patients. He went on to pursue Doctor of Optometry Degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston.

During school, Dr. Dosani was a member of American Optometric Student Association, Private Practice Club and Student Contact Lens Society. He completed externships at a Community Health Center, VA outpatient clinic, Ocular disease and cataract surgery referral center and a private practice where he worked with patients of all ages ranging from 3-year-old to 106-year-old veteran. Seeing many patients with preventable and manageable eye conditions inspired him to continue his education with a residency in ocular disease.
