Dr. Emily Love is from Mobile, Alabama. She played collegiate volleyball and graduated from Spring Hill College. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015, then completed an Ocular Disease Residency at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Dr. Love is licensed to treat and manage ocular disease and Board Certified by American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Love worked with world renown doctors at Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut (OCC) from 2016 to 2022. And, she served as the Clinical Director at TLC in Fairfield, CT from 2016 to 2019. She rejoined the Omni Eye Services of Atlanta in August of 2022.
Dr. Love has participated in clinical studies, mentorship, industry speaking, and lectures. She joined the Connecticut Optometry Association (CAO) Board in 2018 and was appointed Treasurer from 2020 to 2022. In 2020, she was awarded the CAO’s Young OD of the Year.
