Dr. Jacquelyn Melton, OD is a native of Houston, TX. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She pursued a career in education and pivoted to optometry after working with high school aged students for several years.
She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She was an active participant in the National Optometric Student Association and Private Practice Club. She also served on the executive board of the Student Public Health Vision Care Association. Her fourth-year externship experience included a private practice focused on ocular disease and an optometrist/ophthalmologist practice focused on refractive surgery, corneal surgery, and neuro-ophthalmology.
Dr. Melton is looking forward to working with each of her patients to meet their individual eye care needs.
