The doctors at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta, along with the largest network of primary care optometrists in the nation, have helped thousands of people enjoy better vision and preserve eye health. Your doctor of optometry can tell by doing a comprehensive exam whether your blurred vision is due to the need for an updated eyeglass prescription, or whether it is due to an eye condition like cataracts, glaucoma, or retinal disease.
Leading the way with new medications and surgical procedures, Omni Eye Services of Atlanta can treat a wide range of diseases and conditions that are diagnosed by your doctor of optometry. Advances in technology have impacted all aspects of eyecare. Surgical procedures like cataract extraction that once required a hospital stay and lengthy recovery are now usually performed by our doctors on an outpatient basis, with most patients returning to their normal activities quickly.
We continually invest in state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical instrumentation. Our doctors go through rigorous, ongoing training to ensure that we’re doing everything we can to improve our patients’ vision and quality of life. We’re committed to providing the most advanced care available.
For your convenience, we’ve developed an overview of common eye conditions. Click on any of the conditions on this page to learn more about symptoms, causes and treatments.
You and your family Doctor of Optometry know your eyes better than anyone. If you have been referred to us for a particular eye problem, call 404-257-0814 for an appointment and please have your referring optometrist’s name and address handy so that we may appropriately communicate with them. We do not perform routine eye exams or write prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses. We are happy to refer you to a qualified doctor in your area for such care. However, if you are experiencing changes in your vision due to cataracts or have been diagnosed with a cataract, call our office at 404-257-0814 to schedule a cataract evaluation.
Insurance
Treatment of many eye conditions is covered by insurance, including Medicare. If you have questions about what is covered by your private healthcare insurance, contact your plan provider, or provide us with a copy of your insurance card and we’ll check for you. We accept most major insurances, with the exception of a few HMO’s. Call us at 404-257-0814 with questions.
If you have questions about your Medicare coverage, call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to speak to a Medicare Customer Representative. You can also go to www.medicare.gov to find out more about Medicare coverage. Our staff is always available to help you determine whether the eye care you need is covered by Medicare. Your out-of-pocket expenses for Medicare or private insurance will depend of the type of insurance you have, whether you have supplemental insurance and whether you have a deductible on your policy. We’ll be glad to process all insurance claims for you. We also accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.
