Dr. Crystal Wade was born in Murfreesboro, TN. She came from a military background that allowed her to travel around the world at an early age. She moved back to Tennessee to attend college at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Crystal worked as a General Manager and Licensed Dispensing Optician for 7 years in the Greater Atlanta area before deciding to go back to school to obtain her optometry degree.
Driven by her passion to further educate and help patients on preserving their vision, Crystal followed her dream to become an optometrist in 2021. While she attended didactic studies, she served as the Vice President for the National Optometry Student Association (NOSA) for two years. She was the recipient of several scholarships which included the Henry Moore Scholarship, NOSA Executive Board Scholarship, David White Memorial Scholarship, and the Clayton Powell Georgia Student Award. Crystal obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2025 from the Kentucky College of Optometry located in Pikeville, KY.
Besides her professional pursuits, Dr. Wade is a devoted wife and proud mother of two children. She dedicates any free time she has to volunteer as a coach for her daughter's basketball team. Dr. Wade is very excited to be joining Omni Eye Services Atlanta for her residency training. Her vision is to further advance and deliver exceptional quality eye services and care to the Greater Atlanta area.
