Dr. Himakshi Bhatt grew up in Avon, Connecticut. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Anthropology. While at UConn she was a member of the honors program and worked as a student researcher in a genetics lab.
She graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2021. During her time at optometry school she was active in clinical and academic tutoring and a board member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society.
She also received her Student Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). During her fourth year, she gained clinical experience at The Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut, the Baltimore VA Hospital, and at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Bhatt is honored to become a member of Omni Eye Services and looks forward to providing excellent patient care to your patients.
