Dr. Khanh Hoang grew up in Toronto, Canada, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Science from the University of Waterloo. He then pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating cum laude. Throughout his externship rotations at Miami Gardens Eye Care and Braverman Eye Center in Florida, as well as Daniel and Davis Optometry in California, Dr. Hoang gained valuable experience across various specialties. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for ocular disease, prompting him to pursue a residency in the field. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue working at Omni Eye Services after completing his residency, where he can further contribute to the field and enhance the lives of his patients. Additionally, Dr. Hoang is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry and is fluent in Vietnamese, enabling him to connect with and serve a diverse patient population effectively.
